Il aratam sau nu pe Isus celor din jurul nostru?

Noi suntem copii ai Luminii, conform pasajului din Efeseni 5:6-14, noi nu ar trebui sa avem nimic de a face cu intunericul si nici cu cei care au ales sa traiasca in intuneric.

Da, trebuie sa fim o lumina in intuneric, dar de multe ori acesta copleseste acele lumini care nu sunt destul de puternice.

Trebuie sa fim intelepti in aceasta misiune pe care am primit-o, de a fi lumini. Exista anumite caracteristici care insotesc faptul ca suntem copii ai luminii, si daca acestea sunt vizibile, putem fi lumini/exemple si fara sa ne intovarasim de buna voie cu intunericul. Bunatatea, neprihanirea si adevarul, acestea sunt cele trei caracteristici precizate in Efeseni 5:9.

Nu v-ati trezit niciodata scuzandu-va anumite apucaturi (sau poate pe a cunostintelor din biserica) in felul urmator: ”stii, necrestinii ar trebui sa se uite la Isus, nu la mine, ca deh, sunt si eu om” ? Cineva spunea odata ca scuza asta nu este valabila: cum sa il vada cineva pe Cristos, daca noi nu il aratam? Pavel isi permitea sa spuna: calcati pe urmele mele... adaugand faptul acesta foarte important: intrucat si eu calc pe urmele lui Cristos.

Daca pasii mei, se potrivesc pasilor lui Cristos, niciodata nu o sa folosesc scuza de mai sus, ci o sa fac tot ceea ce pot, ca prin mine ceilalti sa-l cunoasca pe Isus.
